EMGS Awards and Abstract Submission

EMGS Student and New Investigator Travel Awards

Students and New Investigators are the future of our Society. An EMGS priority is to foster the career development of students and postdoctoral level investigators, helping them establish the long-term collaborative relationships that will make EMGS their professional home. Therefore, the EMGS offers a limited number of Student and New Investigator Travel Awards to assist students and new investigators to attend and participate in the EMGS Annual Meeting.

Hollaender Travel Awards

The Hollaender International Outreach Committee is providing travel awards to individuals from low- and middle-income countries (i.e., LMICs) to attend the ICEM meeting in 2022.Students, new investigators (NI), and early career investigators (NI's will be defined as individuals less than 5 years post terminal degree) are eligible for the Hollaender Travel Award. You do not have to be an EMGS member to apply for the Hollaender Travel Award for ICEM 2022.

Submit an Abstract for the 13th ICEM

The 13th ICEM 2022 abstracts will be published in a special electronic issue of the Society's journal, Environmental and Molecular Mutagenesis (EMM).

Abstract submission deadline: April 1, 2022

Late breaking abstracts deadline: August 12, 2022 (Late breaking abstracts will not be published in EMM)

You are encouraged to participate in the meeting by presenting your research as a Poster, Symposium or Platform talk. Short talks will be selected from abstract submission files for presentation in one of the Platform sessions.

Submission is quick and easy. Login or create an ID and password on Oxford Abstracts and then follow the directions and screen prompts.

Abstract submissions should follow the general guidelines and format for EMGS abstracts as described here.
